And how it acts as a spark to change everything in its path.

The White Pigeon by Shashank Jain

Throughout time, humans have been evolving in every field they encounter, learning from everything they observe, improving every aspect of their lives, and generating ideas from abstraction and reality.

For all of this, there has always been an Idea which we followed. From business to technology to politics, it’s this simplest building block that has helped us build the edifice out of our thinking. We have seen innumerable examples in different fields about how a minute idea, proven or unproven, has shown the potential to achieve unprecedented heights.

As in the case of Stephen Hawkings and his theory of black holes which is now being proven by scientists, started out as just a small unproven idea of how the universe came into existence. In order to prove his abstract idea, hawkings did a plethora of research and worked tremendously hard to study different aspects of physical cosmology.

It was the belief in his idea that enabled him to have perseverance and curiosity to explore more in this field.

Similarly, Karl Marx, who gave the idea of Communism was influenced by the way our society is driven and the ways humans can work in synergy. The basic idea of decentralized ownership of wealth, as opposed to capitalism, enabled him to build his theory which revolutionized the economy as well as political systems of his time and beyond.

These figures show us how something so primitive can hold the power to drive humankind forward. The difference between such figures and the common people is in the ways we mold ourselves in our lives. This molding affects the kind of ideas we generate.

Each of our lives is completely different from one another by the things we eat, the people we meet, the books we read, and the thoughts we ponder upon. Such diversity enables all of us to generate unique yet powerful ideas which are not only implementable but have the potential to change humankind.

More often than not, all of us are waiting. Waiting for the right moment, for the right people, for the right circumstances, or for the right mindset. These delays in the implementation of our ideas are nothing but resistance created by our minds due to the fear of uncertainty associated with the risk involved.

The fear of being uncomfortable, the fear of failure, the fear of society, the fear of novelty.

What we need to understand is the fact that no idea is built in a day or two. First, the feasibility takes time to comprehend, then the dimensions require one to work hard, and then the implementation comes which in itself is a mammoth task and the most arduous one.

Most of the ideas fail during the implementation stage as the practicality is way too different than what we imagined.

With the passage of time, the spark we felt because of the idea fades and we are left with no enthusiasm to work on it. Which results in the death of an idea.

In the end, the only thing which stands in between is the plausibility of our ideas to ourselves.

There’s a realization I recently had that no matter where you are in life, the best place to start working on your idea is right now. This in itself is a new idea that I have decided to pursue. Humans have the capability to deal with any kind of misery they face in life but in order to come out victorious, we must take the first step. Failures do push us down into a spiral of negativity and helplessness but what we must remember is to hustle from wherever we are.

I have been delaying my blogposts on medium for quite some time due to other commitments, even though I love writing but now I have decided to be persistent with my posts and put out the best ideas I have.

Somewhere, someone might get inspired by my thought process and improve their lives.
